Taste & Connect Livonia
Privacy policy
This policy explains what information is handled when you browse the site or contact us.
Effective September 30, 2026
1. Information you provide
When you use a contact, correction, claim, or business-interest form, we may collect your name, reply address, topic, message, business name, and the page you reference. We use that information to respond, verify requests, correct content, prevent abuse, maintain records, and protect legal rights.
Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, health information, government identifiers, or other sensitive information.
2. Information collected automatically
Our hosting and security providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested page, referring page, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, and diagnostic or security events. This information helps deliver the site, detect abuse, troubleshoot problems, and understand general usage.
3. Cookies and local storage
The site and its service providers may use essential cookies or browser storage for security, preferences, session continuity, and reliable operation. We do not currently sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, we will update this policy and provide any legally required choices.
4. Embedded video, maps and third parties
Videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain and begin loading when you choose to watch. YouTube may still receive device, network, and viewing information and may set cookies according to its policies. Links, photos, ratings, reviews, directions, and map information may be supplied by Google or other third parties. Opening or interacting with those services subjects you to their privacy practices.
5. How information is shared
We may share information with vendors that provide hosting, database, security, analytics, and site operations; with a business or rights holder when needed to verify a request; with professional advisers; or when required to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, or complete a business transfer. We do not publish your contact-form reply address.
6. Retention and security
We keep contact requests only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you submitted, object to certain uses, or raise a privacy concern through our contact form. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law. Browser settings can limit cookies, though some features may work differently.
8. Children
The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information should use the contact form.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version. Material changes will be presented as required by law.
